The ViewSonic SP3 is a high-brightness business projector designed for meeting rooms, classrooms, training environments and professional presentations. With 4800 ANSI Lumens brightness and a 22,000:1 contrast ratio, it delivers bright, clearly visible images even in environments with ambient light.
Featuring ViewSonic's SuperColor™ Technology, the SP3 reproduces a wide range of colors for realistic and accurate image quality. Its native 800 × 600 SVGA resolution supports input resolutions up to Full HD 1920 × 1080, while the 1.1x optical zoom and ±40° vertical keystone correction provide additional installation flexibility.
The projector also includes practical business features such as 5 preset color modes, Presentation Timer, Blank Timer, Sleep Timer, Auto Power Off, Direct Power On and Signal Power On. HDMI connectivity enables playback from modern digital devices, while support for compatible 3D Blu-ray content adds further versatility.

The SP3 provides 4800 ANSI Lumens of brightness for clear and visible presentations in meeting rooms, classrooms and other environments where ambient light may be present.
22,000:1 Contrast Ratio
With a specified 22,000:1 contrast ratio in SuperEco mode, the SP3 delivers defined differences between bright and dark areas of the projected image.
SuperColor™ Technology
ViewSonic's proprietary SuperColor™ Technology provides a wider range of displayable colors, helping produce realistic and accurate color reproduction without sacrificing image quality.
5 Preset Color Modes
The projector provides five viewing modes for different usage scenarios:
- Brightest Mode – Maximum brightness for environments requiring high light output
- Presentation Mode – High brightness and contrast for presentations
- Standard Mode – Enhanced color similar to a PC or notebook
- Photo Mode – Natural color for general viewing
- Movie Mode – Saturated color for movie viewing in darker environments
1.1x Optical Zoom
The integrated 1.1x optical zoom provides additional flexibility when positioning the projector within different rooms and projection environments.
±40° Vertical Keystone Correction
The SP3 features ±40° vertical keystone correction, helping correct image distortion when the projector is positioned above or below the ideal projection angle.
30" to 300" Projection Size
The SP3 supports large projected images from 30 inches up to 300 inches, with a throw distance of 1.19m to 13.11m.
A 100-inch image can be projected from approximately 3.98m.
Extended Lamp Life
The SP3 uses a 190W lamp with a rated lifespan of:
- 5,000 hours in Normal Mode
- 15,000 hours in SuperEco Mode
Power-saving functions can automatically reduce lamp output when the projector is left without an input signal.
Eco Mode
When there is no signal for 5 minutes, the projector can automatically switch from Normal to Eco Mode.
SuperEco Mode
When no input signal is detected for 20 minutes, the projector can dim the projected image to 70%, helping extend lamp life to an average of 15,000 hours.
Automatic Power Management
Auto Power Off
When no signal is detected, the projector can automatically power off to help conserve energy and lamp life.
Sleep Timer
The integrated Sleep Timer allows users to configure a period of inactivity before the projector automatically enters sleep mode.
Direct Power On
The SP3 can automatically power on when connected to a power source.
Signal Power On
The projector can automatically power on when a VGA cable connection is detected.
3D Support
The SP3's HDMI connection supports compatible 3D content, including 3D Blu-ray players and HDMI-enabled devices such as laptops, tablets and media players.
Presentation Tools
Presentation Timer
The built-in Presentation Timer displays an on-screen timer to help presenters manage their available presentation time. A beep signals when the configured time limit has been reached.
Blank Timer
Blank Timer allows the presenter to temporarily hide the projected image to refocus audience attention or use the feature as a reminder for scheduled breaks.
Multi-Projector Remote Control
The SP3 supports up to 8 different remote control codes, allowing compatible projectors in the same venue to be individually selected and operated using the appropriate remote-control configuration.
