The ViewSonic SP6 is a high-brightness XGA business projector designed for professional presentations, meeting rooms, classrooms and training environments. It combines 4000 ANSI Lumens brightness with a 25,000:1 contrast ratio and ViewSonic SuperColor™ Technology to produce clear and vibrant images across a variety of lighting conditions.
With a native 1024 × 768 XGA resolution, support for input resolutions up to Full HD 1920 × 1080, 1.1x optical zoom, 0.8x–2.0x digital zoom and ±40° vertical keystone correction, the SP6 provides practical flexibility for different installation and presentation setups.
The projector also features 5 preset color modes, automatic power management, a 15,000-hour SuperEco lamp life, HDMI connectivity, dual computer inputs, RS232 control and support for compatible 3D Blu-ray content.

High-Brightness XGA Projection
The SP6 delivers 4000 ANSI Lumens of brightness, helping maintain clear and visible presentations in meeting rooms, classrooms and other environments with ambient lighting.
25,000:1 Contrast Ratio
A 25,000:1 contrast ratio in SuperEco mode provides enhanced differentiation between dark and bright areas of the projected image.
SuperColor™ Technology
ViewSonic's proprietary SuperColor™ Technology provides a wide range of displayable colors for realistic and accurate color reproduction in both bright and dark scenes.
5 Color Modes
The SP6 provides five preset viewing modes:
- Brightest Mode – For environments requiring maximum brightness
- Presentation Mode – High brightness and contrast for presentations
- Standard Mode – Enhanced color similar to a PC or notebook
- Photo Mode – Natural color for general viewing
- Movie Mode – Saturated color for movie viewing in darker environments
1.1x Optical Zoom
The 1.1x optical zoom allows additional flexibility when positioning the projector within a meeting room, classroom or presentation space.
Digital Zoom
The SP6 also supports 0.8x–2.0x digital zoom, providing additional image-size adjustment.
±40° Vertical Keystone Correction
The projector features ±40° vertical keystone correction, allowing users to correct vertical image distortion when the projector is positioned above or below the ideal projection angle.
Large Projection Size
The SP6 supports projected image sizes from 30" to 300", with a throw distance of 1.19m to 13.11m.
A 100-inch image can be projected from approximately 3.98m.
Extended Lamp Life
The SP6 uses a 190W lamp with a rated light-source life of:
- 5,000 hours in Normal Mode
- 15,000 hours in SuperEco Mode
When Power Saving is enabled, the projector can automatically switch to lower-power modes when no input signal is detected.
Eco Mode
After being left idle without a signal for 5 minutes, the projector can automatically switch from Normal Mode to Eco Mode.
SuperEco Mode
After 20 minutes without an input signal, the projected image can be dimmed to 70%, helping extend the lamp life to an average of 15,000 hours.
Automatic Power Management
Auto Power Off
When no signal is detected, the projector can automatically power off to help conserve energy and lamp life.
Sleep Timer
The Sleep Timer allows users to configure a period of inactivity after which the projector automatically enters sleep mode.
Direct Power On
The projector can power on automatically when the power cord is connected.
Signal Power On
The SP6 can automatically power on when a VGA cable connection is detected.
3D Blu-ray Support
The SP6's HDMI 1.4 / HDCP 1.4 connection supports compatible 3D content from 3D Blu-ray players and HDMI-enabled devices such as laptops, tablets and media players.
Presentation Tools
Presentation Timer
The built-in Presentation Timer provides an on-screen timer to help presenters manage presentation time. When the configured time limit is reached, the projector provides an audible signal.
Blank Timer
Blank Timer allows the presenter to temporarily hide the projected image to refocus audience attention or provide a visual reminder for scheduled breaks.
Multi-Projector Remote Control
The SP6 supports up to 8 different remote control codes, allowing compatible projectors in the same venue to be individually selected and operated through the appropriate remote-control configuration.
Low Input Lag
With an input lag of just 16ms, the SP6 provides responsive image display for supported interactive and multimedia applications.
